Plain-language summary of what VINU Technologies keeps and why. Run by Matt Huber.

What we keep

• If you have an account: your name, email address, a scrambled (hashed) password, your time zone, your working hours, your events, and your business name and colour.
• If you book a time with a business: your name, email address, time zone, the time you booked and your answers to that business's questions. The business you booked with can see these.
• If you connect a calendar: its address, and the start and end of your busy times. We do not keep event titles, guests or descriptions.
• Cookies: one sign-in cookie for account holders, and a short-lived one that carries a status message to the next page. No advertising or tracking cookies. People booking a time get no cookies beyond those.

What we do with it

We use it to run bookings: showing open times, sending confirmations, reminders and changes, and showing businesses their own bookings. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare runs the servers and stores the database.
• Resend delivers email.

If a business has set up webhooks, booking details are also sent to the address that business chose.

How long we keep it

Until the account is deleted. Deleting an account in Settings deletes the business, its events and its bookings straight away. Backups, where the host keeps them, roll off within 30 days.

Your choices

Account holders can change or delete their details in Settings. If you booked with a business and want your details removed, ask that business or write to us at matthuber21@gmail.com and we will remove them.
